What is the SOL locked in my token accounts?
It is rent: a deposit Solana charges to store each token account on-chain, roughly 0.00204 SOL per account.
Every token you have ever received opened its own account and locked that deposit. Selling the token does not give it back. The empty account sits there holding your SOL until someone closes it. It is not an airdrop or a reward, it is money you already paid.
How much can I reclaim?
Two things come back. The rent is predictable: about 0.00204 SOL per empty account, so 100 inactive accounts hold roughly 0.2 SOL. The dust is not predictable. Some wallets hold a few cents, some hold a few hundred dollars in coins nobody bothered to sell. Airdrop farmers and memecoin traders almost always find more than they expected, on both counts.
Run the checker to see your own numbers. It does not need your wallet connected.
Why we swap your dust instead of burning it
Most wallet cleaners burn whatever is left in your accounts. Burning destroys the token and hands you the rent deposit, about 0.00204 SOL, and nothing else. That is fine when the token is truly worthless, but a lot of dust is not worthless. It is a few dollars of a coin you stopped watching.
Pro Mode routes that dust through Jupiter and sells it for SOL, so the value comes back to you instead of going up in smoke. The accounts that were already empty are closed in the same sweep and their rent comes with it. An account that only empties because of the swap is closed the next time you sweep. Fun Mode skips the swap and simply closes the empty accounts, which is what you want when there is nothing left to sell.
That is also why our fee looks higher than the burners. Their percentage comes off the rent alone. Ours comes off the rent plus whatever the dust was actually worth, and you keep the rest.
Is it safe to close token accounts?
Yes. Solana refuses to close any account that still holds a balance, so tokens you own cannot be touched.
SolanaSweeper is non-custodial and has no smart contract of its own. Every instruction in your transaction belongs to Solana itself, and nothing happens until you sign it in your own wallet. We never see your keys and never ask for your seed phrase.
Frequently asked questions
Why do I get "insufficient funds for rent" when I still have SOL?
Solana rejects any transaction that would leave an account below its rent minimum — about 0.00089 SOL for your wallet and 0.00204 SOL for each new token account. Topping up fixes it, and so does closing the empty token accounts you already own: that rent comes straight back to your wallet.

What if my token accounts still hold dust?
Pro Mode swaps leftover dust through Jupiter before closing the account, and can burn junk tokens and NFTs that have no market.
Can I check my wallet without connecting it?
Yes. SolanaSweeper's checker shows your reclaimable rent without a wallet connection. You only connect when you actually want to sweep.
How does SolanaSweeper's referral program work?
